Termite Control in Fayetteville
Sentricon Baiting, Same-Day Inspections & Protection Plans Starting at $79/Month
Fayetteville’s humidity and frequent rainfall keep subterranean termite colonies active well beyond spring swarm season. Most standard homeowner’s insurance policies don’t cover termite damage, which means structural repairs come entirely out of pocket. That financial reality is what makes proactive termite control a priority, not an optional upgrade.
Natural State Pest Control has protected Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas homes since 2016. We’re a locally owned and operated family business with a 4.9-star rating across more than 2,600 reviews, and our licensed technicians are trained on the subterranean termite species active in this climate. We use the Sentricon baiting system to target colonies at their source, and every termite job is backed by a satisfaction guarantee: if you’re not satisfied with the results, we return within 24 hours to re-treat at no additional charge. Same-day inspections are available when you call before noon on a weekday.

Recognizing the Warning Signs of an Infestation
Subterranean termites work inside walls, subfloors, and crawl spaces for months before the damage becomes visible. By the time most homeowners notice something is wrong, a colony has often been feeding on structural wood for a full season or more. Knowing what to look for lets you act before minor damage becomes a major repair bill.
When evaluating your property for vulnerabilities, remain highly observant of these common indicators:
- Mud tubes winding along exterior foundations, serving as protected travel routes from the soil to the wood.
- Discarded translucent wings near windowsills or doors, left behind after a reproductive spring swarm.
- Wood that sounds hollow when tapped, indicating internal consumption by active worker insects.
- Sagging floors, bubbling paint, or drywall that appears inexplicably blistered.
A few of these indicators carry specific meaning. Mud tubes are the clearest sign of subterranean termite activity: the colony builds them from soil particles to travel between the ground and structural wood, and they typically appear on exterior foundation walls and inside crawl spaces. Swarmers that shed wings near windows or light sources indoors signal that a colony is already active inside or immediately adjacent to the structure. Finding either warrants a professional evaluation, not a wait-and-see approach. A licensed termite exterminator can locate hidden activity, assess the extent of damage, and recommend treatment before the colony expands further.

Why Fayetteville Homeowners Choose Natural State Pest Control
Choosing the right termite exterminator in Fayetteville comes down to accountability, local knowledge, and a treatment approach you can understand. Since 2016, we’ve built our reputation on all three. Our 4.9-star rating across more than 2,600 reviews reflects what happens when a locally owned business treats neighbors the way it would want to be treated.
Here is why our professionals are the right choice for protecting your property:
- We back every termite job with a satisfaction guarantee: if you’re not satisfied, we return within 24 hours to re-treat at no additional charge.
- Our licensed technicians have hands-on knowledge of the subterranean species active in the Arkansas climate and the conditions that make Northwest Arkansas properties particularly vulnerable.
- We offer same-day service for inspections and rapid interventions when you contact us before noon on a weekday.
- As a locally owned and operated family business, we provide dependable service and treatments designed with your family and pets in mind.
Termite protection is also available as part of our bundled Home Defense plans. The Home Defense Gold plan starts at $79 per month and includes termite protection alongside pest and mosquito coverage. The Home Defense Platinum plan starts at $110 per month. Pricing may vary based on home square footage, and initial fees apply. Bundling termite protection into an ongoing plan means consistent monitoring rather than one-time treatment, which helps reduce the chance of subterranean colonies returning.

Minimizing Moisture to Deter Destructive Colonies
Subterranean termites require moisture to survive. They thrive where damp soil meets foundational wood, and controlling the moisture levels around your property is one of the most effective ways to reduce the likelihood of attracting a foraging colony. Start by keeping gutters and downspouts clear and directing rainwater away from the base of your home.
Fix any leaking outdoor faucets, AC condensation lines, or irrigation systems promptly. Even a slow, consistent drip creates the damp conditions these insects seek. Maintain a clearance zone between organic mulch or firewood and your exterior walls, and prevent soil from making direct contact with structural timber. These straightforward adjustments complement professional treatment and reduce termite pressure at the property level over time.
Our FAQ
Have questions? We are here to help. Still have questions or can't find the answer you need? Give us a call at 479-777-0864 today!
-
What if it rains after my lawn or trees and shrubs are treated? No problem! We know your lawn and outdoor foliage will get rain throughout the year. As long as the treatment is given time to dry, your service will still be effective. For fertilization rounds, receiving rain after treatment is actually a huge plus! It waters in the fertilizer so you don’t have to. If our technicians are treating and the weather will compromise the treatment, they know to call the office and have the appointment rescheduled for a dry day.
-
Does pulling weeds make them worse? Will it spread weed seeds in my yard?Pulling weeds can be tempting, but we don’t believe it’s a good idea. Certain weeds, like nutsedge, will be worsened by pulling. Uprooting weeds can dislodge buried seeds in the soil as well as damage the turf when the roots of the weed are pulled up, and weeds with larger taproots (like dandelions) are especially damaging. If you need a spot spray while your service is active, you can request it from our office. Once the weeds have been treated, give it a few days and then mow your yard– this is the best way to eliminate them without the risk of the weed reseeding.
-
How often do you treat my lawn? Once a month?
Our Weed N’ Feed program includes 7 treatments over the course of the year, serviced every 4-6 weeks. Services usually begin in February and wrap up in late October or November. Due to shifts in the weather and the season, our treatment cadence may vary. If you have any questions about your treatment schedule, give us a call!
